Now that the staffed company has settled into the new Fire Station 2, the personnel have begun working on the landscaping projects to finish off the station. The Fire District wants to make sure that the Station’s appearance adds to the neighborhood and demonstrates the pride that we have in our organization. Through a lot of hard work the project is really coming along. We anticipate the bulk of the work to be within the next several weeks. This has been a true team project many of our volunteers have worked side by side with the career staff to move this along.
A special note of thanks goes out to our resident landscaping guru's A Platoon along with volunteer Marc Sutcliffe for the installation of the irrigation system, B Platoon along with volunteers Luke & Brandy Delhotal who spent a long hard hot day getting the site ready for sod & the A Platoon, and volunteers Marc Sutcliffe & Dave Yelton who volunteered their time to help lay the sod.
